App Key - multiple users

Hi, I have an app written in C# using the EikonDataApi, with only one user up til now and I'm trying to add a new user. I know there have been a couple of similar questions here and the response has been to use the same app key for multiple users which sounds good to me but I can't work out how to do it. I know I need to configure an app key in Eikon for the new user otherwise it won't connect at all but it will not let me overwrite the newly generated app key with the original. I tried using the search field to search for the original Product ID but I guess that is only looking for product IDs registered to the new user, so no result there either. Thanks!

Ok, so if I understand you are distributing your app to users who have Eikon desktop. The app key does not have to be re-created in the user's account. Whatever key you have in your application will work for user's as well.

Thanks @Gurpreet, I'll confirm and get back.

Hello @DDALY,

Can you please clarify which Eikon Data API you are using?
