EMA C++ 3.X compatibility

We're considering using EMA C++ 3.X as an API, but please let us know whether or not the following OS and compiler are compatible with EMA C++ 3.X. (We checked the compatibility as for the OS and the compiler on your site, but it is not described.)

[OS] Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.X 64bit

[Compiler] gcc 4.8.5

You can use Elektron SDK (EMA, ETA) with GCC 4.8.x but RHEL7 is not listed in official support OS according to API Compatibility Matrix.

However, I believe that you should be able to use Elektron SDK(ESDK) on RHEL7. This is because ESDK supports Oracle Linux 7. As far as I understand, Oracle Linux is fully compatible – both source and binary – with Red Hat Enterprise Linux according to the following document from Oracle website.

One concern you need to know when using ESDK on unofficial support OS is that the CMake build script may not fully compatible with your target OS such as RHEL7. You might need to modify CMake script yourself in order to build projects on RHEL7.

Also when you have any issue with ESDK, we will try to replicate and investigate the issue using supported OS such as Oracle 7 instead.
