Limit of number of concurrent extraction requests running at any one time per Template in TRTH?

In the TRTH 12.0 User Guide V1, it says "A limit of two concurrent reports allowed to process per report template". Where as in the Best Practices and Limits Guide v 1.0, It says "Each user can have up to 50 extraction requests running at any one time"

Thanks

Up to 2 attachments (including images) can be used with a maximum of 5.0 MiB each and 10.0 MiB total.

@gdrow,

thank you for raising this, well spotted !

I added links to the docs in your query, and escalated this to the documentation manager, to check and correct what is needed.

@gdrow,

Thank you for spotting this error, the documentation has now been updated.

Here is an extract of the corrected version (for the full version, see the Best practices and limits for Tick History 12.1):

In order to support consistent performance and optimize response times for the most users, Tick History applies the following request execution limits and queuing on a per-template basis, which allows for more granular resource balancing.

  • 50 concurrent requests per user per template, for each of the following templates:
  1. Historical Reference
  2. Tick History Intraday Summaries
  3. Tick History Market Depth
  4. Tick History Raw
  5. Tick History Time and Sales
  • 1 Elektron Timeseries request per user (concurrent requests are not supported)

@Christiaan Meihsl what does a "user" indicate in this documentation? Is the concurrency limit per a user ID or per a company?

@jacob.cocagne, it is per user ID.
