Hello,
How far can we go back to retrieve headlines using python's getnewsheadline function ? Its seems to go back only 1 year.
Is there a larger corpus of news available for refinitiv users ?
Thank you very much in advance
Best regards,
Emile

@emile.esmaili-ext Eikon carries a news history of 15 months. We have a much larger corpus of all our news called News Archive - containing Reuters and third-party news and news analytics back to 2003. This is part of our Machine Readable News offering. Please speak to your Refinitiv Account person to set you up with a trial etc or you can find/request more information on the link I posted.I hope this can help.
hi jason,
thanks a lot ! have a great day
@emile.esmaili-ext My pleasure - please let me know if you have any issues. Have a great day yourself!
The depth of news headlines history accessible through Eikon Data APIs is limited to 15 months. In News Monitor app in Eikon application you can view news headlines history going back decades. However news headlines older than 15 months currently cannot be retrieved using Eikon APIs. Currently the only Refinitiv offering that provides programmatic access to the full depth of the news archive is Machine Readable News.
