Are you using the RFA Java app with an SSLED connection to connecting to Refinitiv Real-Time – Optimized(ERT in cloud)?
If so, the app should get the connection down because RFA does not support ERT in cloud, and currently, RFA is in maintenance mode; this feature is not added to RFA. But if you are connecting to your own TREP / ADS server, please contact the infra admin team to verify the connection issue.
If you are developing a new application, you have to use EMA Java instead. The new API does not support the Market Feed protocol; you have to use OMM RWF instead.
Please download EMA Java and find the tutorial and quick start guide from the EMA Quick Start page.
Hi @sonali.rane
You mention MachineID which would suggest you are trying to us our cloud offering of Refinitiv Realtime Optimized (formerly known as Elektron Realtime in Cloud).
As my colleague pointed out, RFA does not support connectivity to the cloud.
If you are unsure whether you are connecting to cloud or local onsite deployed system, please confirm the details of the server, Port / IP address etc that you are connecting to. This should help confirm which system you are trying to connect to.

Hi @sonali.rane
Did you manage to reset your password - based on the offline chat I had with your Refinitiv representative - it appeared that the password you were using was too short - suggesting that you were using the wrong password for the login attempt.
