Sitecore package installation is not carrying the “White space” over in single line text field

As part of the deployment we noticed that if a single line text field contains "white space" as a value and when we deploy this filed in any other Sitecore environment through Sitecore package then its "white space" value getting removed.

Any suggestion. Is it a Sitecore bug?
