Sdate / Edate

Hi, Below is my code :

profitability,err = ek.get_data(flat_list_PG,["TR.F.OpProfBefNonRecurIncExpn","TR.OperatingMarginPercent","TR.OperatingMarginPercent.Date","TR.ROEPercentTrailing12M"],{"SDate":'0','EDate':'-12'})

For a reason I understand as some companies having already published their FY20, others haven't yet, some securities have the data begin in 2020 / others in 2019.

How do I get all the securities begin at the same date (2019 as all the securities have published in 2019).

More broadly, do you have detailed documentation on how to use date parameters? The documentation on the website is quite light.

thanks a lot,

Regards,

FM

Hi @florent.martini

You can refer to this document which explain how to use "Data Item Browser" to check supported parameters on the fields.

Some fields support an absolute date

{'SDate':'20190101', 'EDate':'20200831'}

Some fields support a relative date as in your query.

Some fields support both.

If you cannot find the field you are looking for, please contact Refinitiv Content Helpdesk at https://my.refinitiv.com/ and ask for example using Eikon Excel =TR formula.

From the provided formula, you can see the fields and parameters which you can use in Eikon Data API.
