Do we have an auto log in API?
To launch Eikon you can simply run eikon.exe, and if the user previously ticked "Sign me in automatically" checkbox in Eikon login prompt, the login will be silent. This is the most automation you can do for logging into Eikon, and it's deliberate. Eikon is an end user product which comes with single user data licence. According to the terms of standard Refinitiv contract any data retrieved from Eikon is for individual user's use only. As such contractually Eikon data cannot be utilized in any kind of multi-user, server side or enterprise application. Eikon is purposely not designed to facilitate fully automated unattended processes. If you're looking to facilitate a fully automated unattended process, Refinitiv has a plethora of Enterprise product offerings designed for this purpose.
I am not sure I understand your question?
The Eikon desktop application already has an automatic sign-in feature which you can disable using the Stop Automatic Sign-in tool.
Once Eikon is up and running - you can run an Eikon Data API script as and when required. So, you would need to start Eikon first before running any Eikon Data API script.
If that does not answer your question - please clarify.
