RFANet connection issue

Hi.. I am trying to run the StarterConsumer_BatchView example from RFANet API (Version 8.1.1.L1) and getting the below error when trying to connect to the Reuters servers. We are moving from Windows Server 2008 (current production environment) to 2012. Not sure if any configuration changes need to be made at your end to allow connections from our new servers.

@SKanipaakam
It looks like you are using default user the application set in StarterConsumer_BatchView.cfg. Please open the configuration file and change below config to a valid DACS User for the ADS you are connecting to.

\userName = "user

hi @SKanipaakam,

From the screenshot it looks like that the application was able to connect and failed at login. Are you connecting to the same ADS as before. Is the DACS ID "user" valid?

Othervise modify the StarterConsumer_BatchView.reg/StarterConsumer_BatchView.cfg and provide a valid userName.

@moragodkrit @Gurpreet.

Thanks Gurpreet/Moragodkrit.. Updating the user details resolved the issue.

Can you please let us know if there any plans of supporting Windows Server 2016 for RFA Net in near future? Latest API version lists only up to Windows Server 2012 as supported OS.

Thanks again for your help in resolving the issue.

@SKanipaakam

We received a similar question raised by another customer and I have heard from RFA 3rd level about supporting Windows Server 2016 for RFA.NET. Actually, starting from RFA.Net 8.1.0.L1 version, RFA.Net supports Windows Server 2016 operating system. It looks like the document did not update. We are contacting the Project manager to update the API compatibility matrix.
