Eikon Python API Response 500

Dear community,

I try to set the app id in the eikon python API and get the following error message:

import eikon as ek

ek.set_app_id(*************************)

The Thomson Reuters Desktop App is running in the background and the app receive data.

Does anyone know what the problem could be?

Windows 10 with Thomson Reuters Eikon Desktop 4.0.44 (4.0.4414) installed

the error is still displayed, but I receive the data.

Could you please paste your log here? Eikon Menu > Help > Log Viewer and then in the 'Source' drop down select 'SxS'.
