- No, you cannot use the same Case ID to create multiple cases.

• Update or rescreen a Case using a Case ID already used without providing any new information?

- Yes, you can update/rescreen a case using its case ID, you need to explicitly use the existing case ID for that particular case otherwise it will create a new Case ID.

• Update or rescreen a case using a Case ID already used but adding new filters? For example, adding Date of birth which you did not do for the first screening? Do we keep the old results and flag them as False positive? Override the case ? Will I see the change in the audit log?

- Yes, you can add additional filters and rescreen/update the case, and yes we do keep the old results and flag them as False positive and when you rescreen/update it the newer results will be displayed on top of old ones, you'll see the change in the audit log. (Eg: The case was screened.)

For the first case do you receive an error msg that you can use to know that the case Id is already used.

You can use the SEQ-2a to check the caseID availability and if it returns the code 404 not found- you can use the caseID and if it returns a 200ok it means the case ID already exists and cannot be reused. Attached is the snap for your reference.
