How to remove Eikon link and author details in a TREP news?

Hi RDC,

I'm from Solution Delivery team. We are working on the ROFX online portal project for Standard Chartered Bank. They don’t prefer their retails customers to see our support reference/author details..etc (see red highlights in the sample news below). We are working with our vendor to study the technical feasibility to filter out these details in their portal. I've raised this question to TRCS and they refer me to contact RDC.

Thanks,
Andy

Hello @8018536

What RFA edition that the client use? Is it C++, Java or .NET?

Hello @8018536

RFA Java does not have any function to remove Eikon link and author details in a TREP news; it passes data as it receives from the feed including Eikon link and author details as shown in the figure. The application has to remove Eikon link and author details by itself after it receives news. You should confirm if there is the pattern of Eikon link and author details with the news feed team; RFA does not generate the news so it does not know the pattern. If there are the patterns of them, the application can remove Eikon link and author details when it find the patterns. Otherwise, it is hard or impossible to remove them.
