Matching dataset using CUSIP

Hello,

I'm writing a reasearch paper about finacing projects using the Project Finance Structure.

I have a dataset of project finance deals with project company CUSIP. I want to use this code to look for other microeconomic varialbes using Eikon/Datastream. First of all, I want to know if it's possible to do that. If so, does someone know how to do so?

My second question is how to find macroeconomic variables like interest rates, market volatility aroud the active date of each deal. (I have the dates)

Thank you in advance.

If I understand correctly your question is not specific to using Eikon APIs, which is what this forum is dedicated to, right? It sounds like you could benefit from an introductory training focusing on how to find data in Eikon and how to retrieve it for further analysis in various Eikon apps and in Excel. You can find training materials by going to the main Eikon menu (click on the Eikon logo on the leftmost of Eikon toolbar) and selecting Help - Tutorials and Training. From this app you can also request a complimentary training session with a specialist by selecting Live Training tab and clicking Contact Training button.
