Running API from UNIX

Hi, is there any way to connect to the API proxy from a Unix session (preferably via eikon package in python)? Thanks

Hi @COFFIN

There is no Unix version of the API Proxy standalone application and we do not plan to release any. However as the API Proxy is now embedded within Thomson Reuters Eikon, a Unix version of the proxy will be available if a version of Eikon is released for Unix. This has not been decided yet. If we do release an Eikon version for Unix, it will be for the Ubuntu Linux distribution.

Hi - is there any update on this please? It would be really helpful to be able to run the API from Linux. Can we get the source code at least so we can build a Linux version ourselves?
