Response time for reference/profile

Hi,

we are currently evaluating the WC One API with a Trial account. We have response times for the simple retrieval of a profile between 0 and 3 seconds.

Will this improve when we move to production? Can you make guarantees regarding the response time?

Thanks.

Hi @andreas.kappler,

The response time will vary depending on the load of the system. When they can have the operation completed in a couple of seconds during periods of low load, the operation time can actually go over one minute during high load periods. So will not give you the exact response time when you will move to production, again it's depends on the system.

Hope this will help.

Thanks,

Shilpi

Thanks for your reply.

I would understand if the response time for a screening varies and is "over one minute". But here we are talking about retrieving a profile. For each screening we have to retrieve all profiles contained in the results, plus all associated companies and linked persons. This can potentially be hundreds of profiles for one screening.

Is there an option to make a bulk request for all profiles at once, or any other option to speed up the retrieval?

Hi @andreas.kappler,

The length of time to retrieve a WC-1 Profile can vary as well, however is more consistent variance based on the size of the return request. For example a 5000 line return request on the Pilot server may take over 20 seconds to retrieve the same profile may only take 3 seconds on the Production server.

Also, the amount of information in the screening results will increase in future releases making it possible to not have to make an additional API request for each associate in the screening results.

Hope this helps,

Brian

Hi @andreas.kappler, No there are not bulk action requests in the API at the moment.
