rmdstestclient for linux

Hi Team,

To debug one of the issue wherein we are trying to access the real time data feed from Reuters server and to correctly know which java api is currently being used to connect to the Reuters server so we need a rmdstestclient.

We are using Murex as a treasury system and Reuters is being used for the real time feed but some how we are not able to connect to our Reuters server. We would like to debug this issue using rmdstestclient as suggested by the application vendor[Murex].

Thanks,

Bikash

Hello @burnwal.bikash

The rmdstestclient is a tool for verifying a connection and subscription with the ADS server. It cannot tell which RFA Java API that used by Murex application. Murex guy is the one who can tell which RFA Java API version used by their Murex application. I suggest you contact Murex.

The rmdstestclient tool is available in Customer Zone web site. It is under Category 'MDS - Infra' and Product 'Infrastructure Tools'. The package contains an instruction of how to use the tool. Please note that the Customer Zone web site account is required to login and download the package.

Regarding the connection issue, you may enable the RSSL trace file and give us the trace file when the problem occurs. You can enable the trace file via the following RFA Java configurations

<namespace>/Connections/<Connection Name>/ipcTraceFlags = 7
<namespace>/ Connections/<Connection Name>/mountTrace = True
<namespace>/ Connections/<Connection Name>/logFileName=<path to log file>

Please contact Murex guy regarding how to configure the RFA Java configurations in Murex application.
