ThomsonReuters.Dss.Api.InvalidResponseException Error

We are receiving, some day ago randomly, but today it happens all the time, a ThomsonReuters.Dss.Api.InvalidResponseException when trying to download exchange rates history. Apaprently the remote server reply with an help page instead of the correct expected json. Any idea?

@felice.pollano, I am guessing that when you received the help page you were trying to do a GET on the location URL. Am I right ?

If yes, this is due to an issue with the location URL sometimes being erroneously returned with HTTP instead of HTTPS, like in this query.

The current workaround is that you monitor the returned URLs and “add the s” to get consistent performance. A solution for the underlying problem is expected in the 11.2 release in September.

Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience.

@felice.pollano

This sounds like an issue that has been addressed here and there is a temporary work around stated in the answer.

If not, please provide more information such as your HTTP request message and response status code and response message.
